What Do Both Parties Agree to Do?
By entering into this agreement, you confirm that you have the authority to act on behalf of yourself, your business, or your organisation. You will provide us with the necessary information, assets, and resources to complete the project promptly and in the required format.
You will review our work, provide timely feedback, and approve the deliverables. Deadlines work both ways, so you’ll adhere to the deadlines we agree upon.
We bring our experience and expertise to every project, ensuring high-quality work delivered in a professional and timely manner. We are committed to maintaining confidentiality regarding all information shared with us.
SEO
EcoSeo has no control over the policies or decisions of search engines regarding the types of sites or content they accept. Your website could be excluded from search engines or directories at any time, as determined solely by the search engine or directory.
Google, for example, may temporarily lower the ranking of new websites or pages until they have demonstrated viability over a certain period. This is commonly known as the “Google Sandbox.” We cannot be held liable for any ranking, traffic, or indexing issues related to Google’s policies.
Occasionally, search engines may remove listings without notice, but often the listing will reappear after a period. If a listing remains removed after 30 days of our SEO efforts, we will re-optimize your site in accordance with the current guidelines of the search engine.
While we have a proven track record and established strategies for SEO success, it’s important to note that search engine algorithms constantly evolve. As such, we cannot guarantee specific rankings or outcomes.
However, we will collaborate with you closely and use our expertise to enhance your website’s performance, focusing on achieving the best possible results through open communication and transparency.
Legal
We aim to provide error-free work, but we cannot guarantee that everything will be flawless. Therefore, EcoSeo cannot be held responsible for any damages, including lost profits or incidental damages, even if we’ve been advised of such potential issues. If any provision of this contract is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the agreement will still remain in force.
Additionally, EcoSeo reserves the right to assign subcontractors or other professionals to assist with specific parts of the project in order to ensure quality and timely completion. We also reserve the right to use any tools, software, or resources that are necessary to complete the project.
Copyrights
You guarantee that you own or have permission to use all text, images, and other materials provided for the project.
Upon full payment, the copyright for the visual elements created by EcoSeo will transfer to you. You will receive the source files and final deliverables, and it’s your responsibility to keep these files safe. You retain ownership of all content you provide, unless otherwise specified.
EcoSeo reserves the right to showcase the work completed for your project in our portfolio and promotional materials, such as websites, magazines, and publications, with your permission.
Payments
For monthly marketing services, full payment is required at the start of each month before any work can begin or continue. To avoid delays, we request that you set up a standing order for the duration of the campaign. A link with instructions on how to do this will be sent to you in your welcome email.
Non-Transferable
This agreement cannot be transferred to another party without our written consent. The terms of this contract will remain in place until either party chooses to terminate it, and the agreement does not need to be renewed unless explicitly stated.
Cancellation
Either party may terminate this agreement by providing 30 days’ written notice.
If work is postponed or terminated at the request of the client, EcoSeo reserves the right to bill for work completed up until the end of the current month, while retaining all rights under the agreement.
For example, if a client has a monthly service fee of R3,000, and terminates the contract on the 15th of the month:
The client will be billed the full R3,000 for the current month, as the notice was provided after the invoice was issued on the 1st.
Instead of prorating the services from the 1st to the 15th, the client will pay R1,500 for services rendered during the notice period.
The total invoice for the termination month would be R4,500, and no further invoices will be issued after the 30-day notice period.
Refunds
EcoSeo does not offer refunds for services rendered. Once a service period has started and the invoice has been issued, the client is responsible for the full payment for the agreed-upon work. This policy ensures that our team is fairly compensated for the time and resources spent on the project.

Effective Contract
This agreement becomes effective when signed by the appropriate representatives of both parties. Regardless of where the agreement is signed, the client agrees that for legal purposes, this contract is considered to have been entered into in South Africa, and any disputes will be handled under South African law.
